Many Christians celebrate Easter Sunday as the day of Jesus Christ's resurrection, which is written in the New Testament of the Christian bible. According to the Gospel of John in the New Testament, Mary Magdalene came to the tomb where Jesus was buried and found it empty. An angel told her that Jesus had risen.
And, I personally love the idea of the resurrection of all that is new. New beginnings! New growth with the spring flowers and new friends and being with family.
This is a personal time of celebration and one of my favorite seasons especially living in the South since our Summers are so hot. It's just so refreshing to enjoy the new beginnings! I love the Spring Flowers and I love that people remember to take flowers still to their hostess/host for the dinner that is being served to celebrate the breaking of bread over the holiday. It just brightens the whole house to have fresh flowers!
I always remember the two most important times was Easter and Christmas to have flowers on the table in our home. And, it still nice that those traditions remain a mainstay for most.
We hope your holiday traditions are memorable and you have a wonderful time over the Easter Holiday and thank you for all your support of our small business!
